So this is how it feels. (FUCKING AWESOME) Thanks Nick!

I don’t have the patience to wait for @yoyoha to get around to including me in his portrait project, and I’m too proud to beg him to.
Hopefully I can bribe him into doing it by doing his portrait first.

Last month I was approached by Katie Blunt, aka @katiepanks about using my Twits project to help teach portraiture to her Pre-K class of 4, 5 and 6 year olds. Of course I was honored to help any way I could, since children are the future and everything. In addition to sending her samples of some of my favorite Twit portrait highlights, I also wrote them a letter (available here: http://www.impactdesignltd.com/letter.html ) about being a professional artist and answered some of their questions. Then, once Katie finished the lesson, her students were then instructed to create a self portrait. This is what they came up with.
Needless to say, I am very proud of each of the students, and amazed at how talented they all are. The artists for each piece are as follows:
Kaden, age 5 - also did a portrait of me!
Kaden, age 5
Hudson, age 5
Gabe, age 6
Thomas, age 6
Tatum, age 4
Rowan, age 6
Rafferty, age 6
Kameryn, age 4
A big thanks to all the kids, and to Katie for thinking of me!

This was the first Facebook profile pic I ever posted. You will notice it’s not a photo, but I did make it myself.
